    Fanless power supplies

    Any of you who have a fanless power supply?

    I'm thinking of getting two of these http://www.yesico.de/products/powers.htm

    But I'm not sure if they really can handle the load without frying the rest of the circuits in my pcs...

      Thats a good idea! Less noisy, less dusty, etc.

          hmm and what if it gets warmer outside? why dont you get a watercooled one...

                  That is one of things I'm concerned about but they have a version with a fan also that can be swiched on during high temperatures. Any links for a watercooled one?

                      The "Specs" on the 550 say:

                      "A fan for the installed extraction of the warm air produced from the other peripheral ones allows activating in way automatic rifle to the inside of the PC, to the overcoming of manual adjustable temperature line between 42 and 62°C.

                      Now, if you read that, as is, it would lead one to believe that if the temps get between 42 and 62 deg C., you should take an automatic rifle to it, to cool it down???

                      Yeah, Bubba. Gotta get me one of those. riiiiiiight!

                      Don't companies proof their copy any more????

                          How expensive are those things?

                          Just get one with a 120mm fan...I have a Sparkle quiet PSU and it works fine with minimal noise.
