AVS or Freesite
 

I have been developing code for pornmasters for some time now, and I figured it was time to start my own site. Do I make an AVS site, with partner links inside, or just a free site?

don't do a freesite. i teach webmasters to do avs sites right from the start. no need to do freesites no matter what anyone tells you. anyone who can make a tgp gallery already has a tour and the members area for an avs site. less rules less bullshit than trying to build freesites that sell. unless your like me and do no link trading.

The biggest problem for me is always traffic. It's already hard enough to get traffic to a free site... so it's damn near impossible for me to get traffic to my AVS sites.

Most link lists, etc., won't link to your site if it uses an AVS, or they put it in a special AVS section so only people with passes see your site. Yeah, you might make some cash from upsells, but it would be nice to make a few AVS sales once in a while...

You definately need to do both types and see what works best for you. As a general rule of thumb you'll find that Free Sites will generate more traffic than an AVS site however your conversion ratios for the AVS sites are usually are much better. Just do some of both initially and analyze your stats to see which is the best route for you. Good Luck. Later - Charlie

I agree with some of the other posters as to just do it all. If you plan it out right you can do it with minimal effort. The avs members area can double as the area inside the free site, just make another doorway page for the link lists following their rules. You can also submit the individual galleries inside to all the no recip tgp's as well.
And then repeat again and again and again and again........................
