my fucking internet is up & down the last hour

sacramento, ca area


does anyone know a static ip for comcast to resolve this ?

having a bad time since an "upgrade"

manually change your dns addresses.

i've been trying to yahoo/google "comcast dns", but connection issues keep me from seeing results :Oh crap

They did an upgrade about a month ago. Most ppl were upgraded automatically to 4Mbps however some ppl need to unplug and disconnect their modems for 60 seconds then hook it back up for the upgrade to take affect. Not sure if this may be causing your problem but 60 seconds trying it is worth it. Also if you were paying the extra for 4Mbps before the upgrade you should now be at 6Mbps.

Same here, it's been up and down all day long. For about an hour I couldn't even reach Yahoo.
