i guess i could equate it this way
if the contest was "design a catchy banner" with no specifics except for colors and formatting and everyone entered gifs and you entered a flash youre not breaking the rules you shouldnt be penalized for going above and beyond
there was nothing really barring what i did
and i applied the correct format the whole way through
and applied the theme correctly
