How much traffic the TGP gallery eats ??
 

Hi guys !
Could somebody tell me, how much (in average) the TGP gallery eats if the gallery size (html + all images + all thumbz and graphics on page) is around 600 KB of size, the traffic is 100 000 uniques per day, and images are the nice series, not mixed..

It is not the way you think, 100 000 * 600 kb * ???% (!!!!) = ....
I guess that percentage is around 20-45 %
the questions is - what the percentage is ...

Should be around 20 % with a series and with thumbs big enough so surfers can see what's in the big pic

100,000 x 600 kb x 20% = 12 GB

but did it get a hot apple pie?

20% of the "max" per visitor for pics viewed sounds about right, but it depends on the pictures as well. A hot-ass girl is going to usually get more people looking at the images than an ugly one. http://bbs.gofuckyourself.net/board/wink.gif

so figure your page size for the HTML and all the thumbs, and multiply that by the # of visitors you plan to get. That's concrete.

Then figure your total for all the full size images, and take 20% of that and multiply by the # of visitors.

add the two together, and you should be within prolly 10-20% for your bandwidth usage pretty reliably.
