Actually, even after adding the two checkout options users are still selecting to outright buy their box! We're rolling out slowly with Net sales regardless ... putting a $180 package into the hands of porn consumers on a TRIAL.. makes me nervous, u know? :winkwink:

I think everyone who likes porn that much already has dig cable with all the xxx channels. I wonder if they looked into just getting their own channel on existing cable networks? Time Warner makes billions off those Playboy and Spice channels.

Are these things selling like crazy? They better be, huge potential.

Why would they sell like crazy? Most people dont want a porn box on the top of their TV. Porn exploded twice with the VCR so people could watch it at home and then with the internet so they could watch it in private with no one knowing. Most guys who buy porn are married with kids, these people arent going to put a porn box on top of the tv. Also its a big investment to jerk off upfront.

We've been mainly working with retail distributors. You'll start seeing it more on the Net. :thumbsup

Yes, we're mainly working on retail distribution deals. I'm being patient in wanting to harness the power of the net. Even at 300 sales per day you're talking about $50k+ leaving the door in hard costs EVERY DAY .. so before betting the house we're analyzing fraud, returns, etc.

IMHO I would say pricing and more importantly content. XTV has TONS! Directv (my home satellite provider) doesn't give me a fraction of the content that XTV offers and is literally 148 times more expensive! Also, I don't watch enough Directv porn to know if they offer the niches that we know sell? Reality, Gay, etc.?

I read that the CEO of XTV eventually wants to start a cable network. Any information on that or is it too early to speculate? 300 sales a day isn't a bad start. Is there not some sort of credit check or insurance against potential loss? Either way, good luck.

TO answer the question and not just being a porn hog, I think 30 day trial for a PRODUCT like this could work well. I personally would probably not deal with the hassle of sending a product back that I have set up, that works, and that I like. Why not.... :-))

Valid points, I guess we made the right decision with regard to the future & how we'll work around that problem! BTW, $9 shipping costs is a big upfront investment for ya? :winkwink:
