vegas is probably the cheapest place to have a convention.

both airfare and hotel rooms are extremely cheap.

I agree and one of the underlying reasons to go to vegas is to network, Im not saying newbies cant help each other, but what im saying is going to the convention and meeting with some of the biggest peeps in each field is worth in knowledge more than the price of the trip.
Like i always say " Networking Is King"!

On the beach, & it's winter, & it's in the middle of nowhere..
Nothing but ocean on 3 sides & houses..

90% of the homes here are summer homes & nobody lives here in the winter..

When it's windy, it's really fucking cold..
When it snows, it floods & I am stuck here..
that's why I'm stuck w/ no car..
I needed new gears in my rear end & decided to have shop keep it til spring..

two things come to mind

#1 If every other house is a holiday home then yours is the only one with a light on..easy to find.

It's only 1.5 hours drive from most points from nothern Massachusetts, New Hampshire & Vermont & only 2 to 3 hours drive from most parts of south east Canada....

Spacedog, I agree with you! I cant travel real far cause of my kids and work, but something with a few hours wouldnt be that bad, I am in Pittsburgh here,.......I think us Norh east folk are forgotton. xoxo Could be just a fun time!
