What's the best motion sickness prevention medicine?
 

I am going out this weekend for a weekend fishing excursion on a 62' King Fisher and am scared that I am going to get sea sick. We will out from Friday to Sunday and once we leave port, there's no turning back.

I don't want to take dramamine beause last time I took it I got so drowsy that I almost passed out and sacraficed good fishing and fun because of it.

Any other suggestions other than dramamine?

Use the non-drowsy formula for Dramamine. It's not bad, though you might have to take an extra one just in case. I know I do.

i take only half a dramamine - that way, ya don't get very sleepy.

i have seen some kind of wristband that applies pressure and prevents sickness this way, cannot say I have tried this. I always take a pill for it :thumbsup

eat green apples...I dont know what they have in them but it works, has to be the green ones tho...

i have grown up in the commercial fishing industry in alaska and i have to say that i have never seen anyone being helped from dramamine or anything else. i think it helps for general motion sickness like driving or flying or something like that, but not for being tossed around on the water. many people often blame dramamine for making them sick when they are on the water.
