plasma tv broke
was watching it today and i hear what sounded like a light bulb burst, then gave off a burnt toast smell - the picture is now all distorted - anyone know what broke and how much it will be to fix?
go buy a new one
No idea...but you can call a TV repairman out to your house to service and repair it. Last time I called it was a few hundred bucks and they give you a 2 month warranty on their work.
Cheaper than buying a new TV!
what brand is it, if it is sony you get a new one, if it is philips or panasonic, forget it
buy new one...

I had to trash mine... The same thing happened and the repairman said it's not fixable. It's best to go with LCD.
