Anybody have suggested software for editing out 30second clips from longer movies (AVI/MPG format)?

I use Vegas to clip, real easy and can render in multiple formats....if you like mac, Final Cut Pro works great also

Every program mentioned so far is overkill.

Here's an idea...Let's spend hundreds of dollars on Premier to chop up 30 second clips when there are shit loads of FREE programs that do it without a fucked up learning curve.

Or at the very least Advanced XVideo Converter does that and much more with a 5 minute learning curve for anybody that spends any time with a computer. But it's like $30.

Ah yes.....I used ASFTools but that was to split WMV's and such....Not sure if it does MPEG or AVI.

Plenty available that do though.
