IPOD locked up? Any advice?

Basically, it ran out of battery energy and just froze on the song as "Now Playing." I can't charge it or anything. It stays frozen even when I plug it into my Mac.

I can't find a reset button?

Any advice?

I am. In addition to being cute, savvy and witty I was also able to find the answer to your question on the aforementioned search engine in less than 5 seconds. It's amazing what can be accomplished when you ask the right questions on the right sites.

you have to buy a new one its screwed. But i can help you cut that cost by selling the broken one to me for $5 so i can recycle the metal in it.

You need to reset it, try this:

Press and hold the Play/Pause and Menu buttons until the Apple/iPod logo appears.

You have to do that and have it plugged into the wall also ... I'm not sure why but it does ..i've had that happen before .

No advise yet, but if you buy me one, nothing special, i'll take a 20GB, I
will try and duplicate your problems, find the answer and let you know.

Email me for my address.

I heard that as well. I really hope it isn't true.

Mine just died finally, I reconnected it to my laptop and it now seems to be charging.

I think you are right. Of course, I couldn't find the wall charger because I never use it.
