That last lap was fucking amazing. I've never been so eager to see a post race press conference before. Didn't live up to expectations unfortuantely. I was hoping there'd be some Rossie/Gibernau drama, but Gibernau was clearly biting his tongue. Although he did have a bit of a bitch about his shoulder and how it may affect him in the next race, but that just seemed a little overacted to me.

This Gibernau/Rossi rivalry is going to be the Prost/Senna rivalry of motorcycle racing in my opinion. It's going to be bitter for years and years because of something petty.

i got it on tivo so I can watch it over & over

Oh yeah, what a race! The last two laps were priceless. That's was quite the asshole move by Rossi on the last corner; pushing Sete into the gravel. Do I hear protest? (did you see Sete's mechanics running for the rulebook? lol)

definetely man...i think that Sete bitched too much too, with that shoulder, valentino made a kickass corner, and i THINK that Sete simply wasn't thinking he could go that tight on the internal side of the curve, therefore they touched....BUT the thing is that i can't understand how the hell valentino didnt fall down...in the end they are both not just human! nobody that drives a moto like that has regular-sized balls hehe!

Definitely the best MotoGP race in quite a while. I think Sete got screwed personally.

I don't think it was an asshole move by Rossi at all. He was entitled to make a go for it. He took the inside line. Gibernau attempted to stay on the racing line and they bumped. It's not really anybody's fault. Rossi trying to pass. Gibernau trying to stay on the race line. Unfortunate that it led to Sete being bumped off the track, but thankfully it didn't matter in the end and he got second anyways.

I don't think anything will come of the situation. I don't think Rossi or Gibernau were in the wrong. It was just one of those things and just happened to occur on the most important corner of the race. There would be no fuss about this had it happened on the 12th lap for example.
