I am a qualified scientist : at least as defined by my college degree and I have "advanced" knowlege that I will present here and you will be the first to hear my new and revolutionary theories.


Scenario: A powerful nuke explodes in the center of the earth splitting the planet into a shower of space debris.

No problem; Earth will re-assemble in it's exact location and life will emerge again.


Go ahead and laugh, but read on.


To explain this I must first define some properties: some of which have been mysteries to other scientist because they fail to see the obvious.


1. What is gravity?
Some propose that the sun or any celestial body pulls on space and this is gravity. They believe that Earth has a pulling power that keeps us on the surface. Sorry Charley!!!!

Proof: Space is like the sea. Travel to the bottom of the sea and the weight of the above water will crush you. This is gravity.
The vastness of space guarantees that Earth rest deep beneath any possible surface of space. Even though it may appear that space has zero weight the shear mass of it defies that logic and it's weight is enormous.

Defined: Thus gravity on earth is the weight of space pressing against it. We are not being sucked in we are being pushed in. The larger the surface for space to press against equals the amount of pressure...ex. smaller planets have less gravity because they have less surface for space to rest.

Flow of matter: Where there is a void in space; space must flow to fill it and thus push any light weight matter into the void with it. Light weight matter only because, like the sea, some objects will be too massive to float into a void(ie. other planets).

Conclusion: A nuke that vaporizes Earth will leave a void in space with the same mass of Earth and it's atmosphere thus causing space to push that matter back into the void and reform into a spheerical body. It is a spheer because that's what you get when pressure is applied equally in all directions(ie. blowing a bubble with bubble gum...you can't blow square bubbles).
There are no square planets and there can never be any for this reason.
The matter of Earth will thus re-assemble, although picking up some new matter and losing some old matter will occur, in the exact same location.

The Earth may be re-arranged and take on new matter and even lose some matter but it will never be "destroyed" unless the mass of space itself has changed so that it can no longer push matter into the void we call Earth.

The axis of earth is merely the center of the void of space.
It cannot be removed. The void in space is the air bubble in the glass of water. Move the bubble and you move the axis. Destroy the bubble with no means of escape of the gas and the buuble will reform in the only void available; which is exactly where it was in the first place.

It is scientific fact that Darth Vader could use the Death Star to destroy earth. Our only hope is that a young Jedi and his two droids will save us.

If the magnitude of the asteriod is more than can be held in the void of earth it will continue on it's path. The exploded matter of the earth will float until space pushes it back into the void.

If the asteriod can fit into the void of earth it will simply become new matter of earth.

Take a glass of water and let some bubbles form in the glass; now throw in a golf ball and blast the bubbles....now wait a while and see if the bubble reform in the glass once again.

I am not convinced on the theory of gravity being a push rather than a pull yet.

That said... I don't think any theories of what exactly gravity is has convinced anyone..

But.. I do think there is more evidence pointing to it being a pull rather than a push

but if you think about it...

If you blow up the Earth all those pieces of Earth acquire momentum and if there were no other objects in the Universe the center of mass of all the pieces would remain the same adjusted for the net force that acted to blow it up but that does not mean they would all end up back at "Earth".

Depending on the force, some pieces would acquire an "escape velocity" and never be seen again.

Ok; now I have someone who is actually thinking and he's right.

Centrifugal force from the earth's rotation would fling us all into hell if there were no force to push us back and any planet smaller than earth that rotated at the same speed would hold nothing under the old theory of gravity since it has less "Old gravity" to hold matter on.

My gravity theory relies on the mass of the body in that the surface area of the body determines how much space can push against it.
If you have enough surface then you have enough gravity no matter what the speed of centrifugal movement.

You are assuming that the asteriods that hit earth today are not returning from an explosion on earth 50,000 years ago.

You have no proof of that.

Space has very little resistance; but don't assume that it has none at all and that an object will not slow down after 25,000 years and them be forced back into it's original space.

Rocket science. It's first year physics. You can estimate the velocity needed to escape the Earth by setting the kinetic energy equal to the potential energy and solve for v.

GMm/r = mv^2/2
v = SQRT(2GM/r)

v is about 25,000 miles per hour at the earth's surface. For a rocket you should factor in air resistance too.

So if the earth explodes with enough force to send pieces at the surface out at greater than about 25,000 miles per hour they are not coming back. As the pieces get further apart they will slow down because of the earths gravity but
at the magic 25,000 mph they will always have just enough velocity to always be just a little further out and keep going. The force between any two objects in the Universe falls off as the square of the distance. So when two pieces of Earth move 10 times further apart the gravitational attraction between them is 100 times weaker. When they get 100 times further apart the gravitational attraction becomes 10,000 times weaker.

Oh,yeah. There are other objects in the Universe. You send a chunk of Earth into orbit and it ends up close to Jupiter it might get caught in orbit around Jupiter or crash into it depending on the distance and velocity.

So you have a formula for an object to escape earth; but where is the formula for the object to escape space.

1. Space is an endless ocean.
I can use your formula and strap a rocket to your ass with enough velocity to escape the shore but eventually your ass will wash back up on the fucking beach.

2. If your ass exploded into pieces from the force of the rocket and flew in different directions in the sea every single piece of your ass, except those eaten by sharks will wash the fuck back up on the beach.


3. You can escape the shore(earth) but not the sea(space) no matter how many pieces your ass broke into.

4. You need not wash up on the same exact beach but just on the same planet. I dont propose that the earth will explode and reassemble the World Trade Center in Manhattan. I only state that the matter will return to the same area of space.

To believe that space is endless you have to ignore about the last 80 years of physics and astronomy. An endless ocean? Our Universe is finite. Shoot something off the Earth at the "escape velocity" and it does not come back to Earth. That has nothing to do with whether it "remains in space".

You can't make up a metaphor about the "shore" and "sea" and apply them to the earth and space and expect to understand physics in any meaningful way. Both your earth and shore exist in spacetime.

Sorry, but there is no reason why matter will return to the same area of space if there is an explosion sufficient enough to send the pieces off fast enough - not if you adhere to the known laws of physics.
