Been living in this area for 12 years now. Never had a problem... never been mugged, robbed, threatened, anything.

Lately, the West Island and Laval have been more dangerous than even the worst neighbourhoods in Montreal.

I lived in Montreal for 7 months in 2003. I lived a block away from MiGil university.(sorry for spelling errors)

I was there from July 2002 til July 2003. To be honest, I actually hated the area. The only reason I was there was because my step-grandfather owns the building, so I got a discount on rent and it saved me the trouble of having to look for a place.
