I was invited to go watch it with my friend who is a cage fighter. But I had already made plans for the night. A guy my friend trains with might be fighting tonight though. He signed a 3 fight deal with the ufc. If he does fight it probably wont make TV though. His name is Curtis Stout, if does come on root for him. He needs it he has fought twice before, once against the NY badass and once against somebody else, he lost both times

O nevermind I just saw in another thread that its the tv show finals, sorry I didnt keep up with that so no Curtis wont be fighting then

It was cool but I was hoping Shamrock was gonna win. If he hadn't slipped, who knows, he coulda won. Franklin saw his opening and just went in for the kill. It was all good. I was glad I didn't have to pay for it. :thumbsup

i wanted shamrock to win to,is sucks to see him leave the ufc sence he one of the main guys that made it big

You dudes need to watch that final fight a few more times. Shamrock threw that fight and basically admitted it in the post-fight interview, imho.

His FIRST fall in the fight was completely COMPLETELY fake, watch it, he does basically a fake wrestling flop to his back. The second fall looked like a legit slip, but then he just opted to not defend himself and let it end there, since the first fall didnt work when franklins punch didnt connect when it was supposed to.

Then in postfight interview, Shamrock said they have some new guy come beat him to make a new star. He said that. I'm sure it was very emotional for him to have to leave taking a dive, and he let slip a little more than he should have. Thats my opinion of it.

Yeah, he did say too much. Kinda wierd ...

watch all the new ufc`s and you will see that all the fighters kiss eachothers asses.they do it so the sport looks friendlyer and more stations will air it.

Is this WWE? Fights pre determained? If shamrock threw the fight then franklin he maybe a star now, but he'll get his ass beat down by a legit contender.
