How much money does it take per payout for you to sign up for an affiliate program?

I don't sign up to an affiliate program solely because of payouts,depends on the quality of sites, reputation of program. A lot of things.

What kind of promotions do you look for? Would you rather have incentive bonuses or prizes and stuff?

$30 is cool

but I prefer recurring :)

$12.50 and up recurring. I'm not much on PPS, and I need to make sure that the sites I push are quality.

4 rebills at $12.50 a piece ends up being $50, versus a $30 PPS. If I know the site will rebill, then I know that the site is worth my traffic. :)

Let be honest here... if you care what the minimum amount is, then you're really not doing much business...

Has nothing to do w/ that. Just a new concept, and I'm trying to get a feel of what is considered a lot, what isn't, and what people want. Thanks for the vote of confidence, though.

Ya i have wondered this also before...and from what i have heard $30 on trial and 60% rev share is best so thats what we will be launching with 4.0 on Monday

To be honest, up until a couple months ago I was never really gig on signing up for other people's programs. Now that I am, it depends on the program, and if I know the owner or not.

ftv is on 12.50 revshare...
but i know they still sell well.... nasty dollars pays 35 but they dont convert as well as ftv, nubiles etc..
plus when its above 30 u get the feeling they shave..... because its weird how the intervals remain the same betwen signups

It's all about conversions, not the per-sale payout :)

if I am trying to make a quick buck, it can't be less than $25 per signup...that is what I make with TCG which converts like a mother fucker...so you have to at least match that

Are there any internet retailers on the board that might chime in? Most of these responses are for websites/paysites, but I am going to be offering a product that can be used for several different things. So, an adult retailer could just add a page, use our banners, cut and paste text, and then get up to $30 per sale. There are options for sites, but just want to know what the retailer side of it is...
