Does Anyone Else Listen To Anthony Robbins?

I love that guy! I work for hours with him playing in the background. Such a positive thinker and he motivates me.

If you haven't listened to him, do it. You won't be sorry.

I lost interest in him when he was hired by the Los Angeles Kings in 1993 to help motivate the team in the Stanley Cup playoffs. They were defeated 4 games to 1 by the Montreal Canadiens in the final. He looked depressed.

Go Habs!

I use to listen to his CD's years ago. Any person who needs motivation should listen to him! He helped me.

If you need motivation or not - hes worth listening too.

To summerise what he does, he openly admits he offers nothing "new" or "innovative". He just studies people who are successful, and tells you their tricks.

Good shit :thumbsup

I have heard and read a lot of the stuff he says before in other courses and the multitude of self motivation books etc. that I have.

He tells it well. :)

I went to a seminar of his a few years ago. It's one thing to read his books and watch him on TV. It's a whole different world when you see him live in action. Very powerful!

I've been to a couple of seminars. My dad was a trainer for him for awhile. He's awesome! Check out his stuff on NLP.

He's good if you need motivation to get out of a rut.

I was kind of frightened of how he was portrayed in "The Family Guy", so I don't think I could ever be in his presence. I'm not sure about his tapes though.

I met Tony Robbins a few years ago when I worked for a marketing/brand management agency. The first thing you notice about him in person is that he?s just very physically large (especially since I?m only 5?4?) and his hands were HUGE. Other than that, he was surprisingly casual and laid back and made a lot of jokes during the focus group that we were observing throught the 2-way glass. Before we started his project, I really didn?t know a lot about him, so I read a few books before we met, and the one thing that I was the most impressed with was his business acumen.

Before anything, he?s an extremely savvy businessman. At the very least, his books and seminars do truly inspire people to do things they haven?t done before. Whether its just hype or fluff, he does have an ability to motivate people to move past whatever barriers they have in their lives. The business-savvy part of him found a way to capitalize and make a VERY GOOD living off of that; and for that, I applaud him.

I bought his cds a while ago (a few years or so) and after listening to them (along with the huge changes in my life); I think the $$$ I paid was well worth it ( considering the $$$ I made by listening to his cds ).
