Are avs sites supposed to be light on content?

Im starting avs's and just clicking around the sites and theye all teeny tiny.
Theyre like 50 pictures spread across 3 galleries and thats it.

Are you supposed to do it that way? Is that the way that makes the most money? It seems so flimsy to me.

I'm making an avs site now and buying tons of content and making dozens of galleries and cutting up huge movies and all of this, and go to look at other peoples and they got a couple of pictures they pulled out of their asses and slapped together in 8 minutes and thats their site.

Im asking because I dont want to be an idiot and bust my ass making big grand sites when I would make more money doing a bunch of little shitty sites instead of larger fuller ones.

There's more than one way to work avs sites.. sounds to me your focus is going to be on building a quality site that you will push as your primary, it's a great way to to. Some guys like to make smaller sites, like the ones you noticed, to use to fill up AVS link lists, or to submit a new one daily to the link lists. They're going for quantity rather than quality.

I've done both, and both do work in their own ways. Ultimately what you're doing has the best possibility of providing long term recurring income.

It also depends on what type of AVS system you're submitting to. If you go for standard AVS sites like Cyberage, the majority of the sites are like that, but if you host your site with a Premium AEN network, you'll get alot more higher quality sites, rather than quantity.

Personally I'd rather build a quality site and focus on sending it profit by building a solid traffic base to it rather than build a bunch of small sites. What happens if the AVS you are using goes down? It's easy to convert a quality site into a low grade paysite and still make money from it. I also don't have to spend so much time building sites. I just upgrade them and submit more galleries for traffic. Seems to make an easier sale too.
