Found this interesting pic, old but still funny. Finished the popular book late last year. Reading the 3rd book now of D. Brown, "Deception Point" and im halfway the finish line. Brown is the king of conspiracy theories :thumbsup

Meh... They're fun books.. definately not 'the best I've ever read'..
They're still fiction... and Angels & Demons has pretty much identical characters and plot development as DaVinci Code...

I think most people that praise this book so highly, don't tend to read a lot of other books :)

spideriux 04-08-2005 01:34 PM

heh funny one :D

I don't really see anything that sensational about the book. It was a good read, but it's not fantastic. I prefer his other books, Digital Fortress and the other one whose name escapes me (alien meteorite discovered in ice). :Graucho

IŽd love to have some good book reference, I love to read!!! Tell me which ones you recommend!

imaginax 04-08-2005 02:43 PM

Dirty F 04-08-2005 02:48 PM

Funny, i was just watching a docu on discovery yesterday. Anything the book claimed was proven wrong. Its a lot of bs.

Za Ha 04-08-2005 02:51 PM

Great book. Not the best... because the ending isnt as good as the rest of the book imo.

GOnna start angels and demons this weekend.

Kicker 04-08-2005 02:53 PM

go with Dan Brown books, worth every penny

tedwinters 04-08-2005 04:41 PM

depends what you like to read :)
I read a ton.. everything and anything....
personally, my favorites are light humour...
although I do enjoy a good mystery/puzzle.. especially when it has bearing on real world events..
