Lost my wallet yesterday during a soccergame and got a call that I can pick it up at the policestation in amsterdam. My driverslicense, atmcard and about 50-75 euros in it. Wonder if the money is still in it though. Anyway I am glad they brought it to the police station ;))

Thats nice, I lost my wallet a week ago, it sucks because now I dont have a ID or my epassporte ATM card... I'll go down to the policestation and ask them about it today.

I think a complete idiot just found your wallet and this is proof there is a god cuz that shits a miracle.

Funny thing is, before we went to the game I took out my CC and about 100 euros cash and put it into my jacket.

Same thing happened to me not too long ago in arizona ...lost my wallet had my cc's, id's and 400 in cash. I was amazed to have it returned with everything intact.

you probably were pick-pocketed.

they take the money and usually return the documents.

Might be the case, don't realy care about the money (if they took it) but I am glad I have my license back :)

Never been to Amsterdam but I tell ya what.
Drop a wallet here in LA and ya might just have a new stalker or a guy that will work on cleaning out your accounts.

congrats. I lost my phone at the beach late night a few nights ago, called it up the next day, some crack n1gger answers and goes "yo phone is jacked yo". I offered to buy it back from him, he goes to his hommie "yo dis dood wants to buy his phone back" then he hung up. so many bar sluts I coulda hooked my friends up with. oh well, I can afford a new phone, he can't even speak english.

i think 10 years ago i found a wallet with papers in it and i returned it to theguy. i remember he was so happy! :thumbsup

I found a wallet before. I returned it without the money...I called the lady and told her where she could pick it up...I told her I was taking the money as a "finders fee"...She tried to complain but then I told her that I could have just thrown it away.

I had something close happen once... Lost my wallet at an outdoor Holiday event. I had about $400 cash and my CC's, needless to say I was freaking. About 3 days later I got my wallet WITH cash and cc's mailed to me by someone that left no return address.. It's nice to see there are still a few people out there with a heart. Glad everything went ok with your episode QuaShe!

Have to call some other phone number now to see where it is, they thought maybe someone brought it to the central depot where they keep everything they find.

My GF lost her wallet in the WORST part of town last year. She had a a few $100 in it. Man was she ever worried and pissed.

After she threw a few hissy fits and bitching sessions she went about her day and went to the coin op to do the laundry, came home and at that moment the police called and asked her for her birth date, she told them and they asked her to come pick up her wallet.

Everything was there as it should be.. no money missing or anything.

Turns out a handicapped guy found it while wheeling about in his electric chair and brought it to the police station.

My girlfriend asked the cops where he could be found. So they gave her his address, she walked over and it took the poor guy 15 minutes to answer the door, he kept saying "Hold on, I'm coming".

He managed to crawl on his belly to the door pulling himself by his fingers, opened the door and my GF gave him a bunch of money.

Just goes to show that there are still honest people.
