He got out pretty quick... I think he lasted all of a month. How he got out I'm not sure.

Former heavyweight champion Riddick Bowe won a split decision over Billy Zumbrun Thursday night at the Pechanga Resort in Temecula, California. Bowe dropped Zumbrun with a body shot in round four, but Zumbrun gave as good as he got for most the fight. Scores were 98-96, 98-96 for Bowe and 95-93 for Zumbrun. Not a good performance by the 37-year-old ex-champ, in his second fight after an eight-year layoff.

Why do fighters like this continue? The money?

The Military will let you leave if you want. I know a person that just got out after 9 weeks in basic. from what i understand your really not in the military until you swear in for the 3rd time at the end of your training. She told me that there was at least 5 people that just said they want to leave and went home. I didn't think you could get out that easy but i think it gets harder once your done with training.
