Crackberry Addicts!!
Thinking about getting a Blackberry... what do I need to know?
What is the latest/best model? Any security concerns? Where do you carry yours? In your man-purse? |
7100T seems to be one of the newest models and one of the only ones with Bluetooth. I just got one & I'm still trying to figure it all out but it's pretty pimp :thumbsup

thanks for the info.
I see the 7100 series is the business model and has SureType instead of the full keyboard..... what do other users think about this? If I am going to be using the internet and sending emails a fair amount... should I have the full keyboard? How are download times when surfing the net? |
This thread makes me want to cry... I had a chance to buy Blackberry's manufacturer, Research In Motion (NASDAQ: RIMM) for $20 back in the day... Several price spikes and stock splits later, I regret my decision not to buy :(

I have the new 7100. No complaints using the bluetooth for phone, which rocks.
The qwerty keyboard doesn't take long to master, I use it for email, ICQ, phone. Get it, you'll love it. |
Got the 7290 Love it , still getting used to all the features :thumbsup

i have one of the 7100's. dig mine. keyboard is awesome. you don't want to carry it in a pocket with keys/credit cards .... the screen gets scratched up easily.... that's my only real complaint about it. but it can fit in any pocket and is so light and un noticeable that i actually have to pat myself down searching for it when i go to use it (if it's not in it's little cradle)
i have my screen brightness turned down .... so that it isn't blinding when i'm inside. but then when i go out into bright sunlight it's a little hard to see. (thankfully i live in seattle and hardly ever go outside) but all in all i'm really happy with it. ~Brett |
