much knocked Iraq off of the news media's radar...I for one find it interesting that...even though a Shiia majority overwhelmingly controls the recently elected parliament...they elected a Sunni speaker and a Kurdish President. Kind of flies in the face of the nay sayers.

You left off Shiavo. Coverage of the pope I can understand...after all he was the spiritual leader for more than 1 billion people...Shiavo and Jackson are of no import.
