This is simply another attempt to undermine Canadian soveriegnty (sp?) like
Nafta, Meech Lake accord - Right now the US has a ban on Cnd Lumber and beef in an attemtp to strong arm our PM into joining the Star Wars II missle defence thing. Canadians want nothing to do with it (for the majority) as our foreign policy does not make us targets of International ire.
