I hung out with Bill Maher last night
I was out at the bar in LA called Chi last night with a couple chicks and I looked over to the right of me and Bill Maher. It was kind of funny that I just happened to be wearing this shirt:
http://www.tshirthell.com/shirts/pro.../a375_b_56.jpg ...which I had just gotten that day from t-shirt hell, so I guess that got me a few extra points - so we had a few drinks, talked shit, scammed on some of the same bitches, and then I called it a night. It was pretty cool because I'm a huge Bill Maher fan. Hollywierd... |
I'm a HUGE fan also. I love his show.

Cool shit! I never completely understood why they took his "Politically Incorrect" show off the air. If anyone spoke the truth it was that man....err wait, did I just answer my own question? (besides the obvious I mean) LOL

The reason he lost "Politically Incorrect" was because ABC/Disney received a ton of heat for his 9-11 remarks where one of his guests made a remark that the terrorists were cowards, and he said the U.S. was because we kick back and launch our bombs at (fill in country of the moment).
A lot of advertisers pulled their ad spots, and Disney/ABC received so much heat over it, they cancelled him. He then moved over to the old Dennis Miller spot on HBO. Personally, I enjoy the HBO show (Real Time) a lot more than Politically Incorrect when both on ABC/Comedy Central. In 30 minutes he barely had a chance to get into issues because there was a lot of fighting or talking over one another. |

Cool, I've been watching him lately.
Did you happen to ask him or feel him out on what's his views are on our industry? |

Pretty cool, Jay. Maher's cool, but if you or anyone ever runs into Jon Stewart, call me, that's my liberal icon of my fantasies. ~Alli |
I used to hang out with him at a party called Naked Hollywood in the late 90's. There was some wild shit goin on in there and he was always scoring some hot women. I see we like the same type of woman. He's a very cool guy. Kinda old to be in the clubs as much as he is though.

Go, Bill, Go!

Back when he was originally on Comedy Central before ABC, I always thought that show needed to be longer or w/o all of the commercials. Now he has it. New rules is priceless, always a couple of yucks in that segment. His monologues.. well.. heh. But he gets to spend more time with guests, and we actually get a nice variety where they actually get to talk more. I personally always like the shows w/ Alec Baldwin, Tim Robbins, because those are some deep thinking mofo's, although Baldwin was more tame last week. :thumbsup |
