can you just have one or two drinks? and stop then?

or do you have to drink until you get drunk every single time you have just one ?

I can stop anytime I want.

Depends... during daytime, I can have a glass of wine with my dinner or so, without feeling the need for more. But in the evening that gets tougher... and it's harder to resist ;)

its better if you just drink one or two only... then stop atleast you drink at all, never get too drunk, because the following day, the least you can get is hangover :pimp

I purchase a 6 pack, drink it down in hopes my vodka cravings won't return. Finish the 6 pack, drive drunk to the store and wake up the next morning covered in vomit beside the toilet.

:(

Heh... that's a bit extreme but I know how tempting it can be. Just be careful... at least try not to make it a habit as it will only get worse.
One of my best friends became addicted and I hardly recognise him anymore...

two is normally my ending point heh

polish_aristocrat 04-07-2005 01:41 PM

when i am meeting some friends, then why should i leave after 1 hour and two beers?

shermo 04-07-2005 01:41 PM

Now I can depending on the situation.

Conventions: It's hard because people keep passing you drinks. On a normal night, I can have 2 glasses of wine and call it a night.

I was becoming an alcoholic, so I stopped it before it became a problem. Dwreck and Webgurl can vouce that there was 1 night in Phoenix when I totally abused it..That was scary.

i can definitely stop after two drinks.
actually that's my preference..just two beers and i'm buzzing hard.

spideriux 04-07-2005 01:50 PM

I can't stop :D

LionDollars 04-07-2005 01:51 PM

Drink Driving or more to the point, not wanting to drink and drive taught me to drink two in the first hour and one every hour after... so i can pull up... but if its 3am and the bars not closed yet and i aint driving... i'll still be pouring them in.

I think everyone that drinks gets a little tipsy sometimes, even if it's just by accident. And at conventions I don't think that you're seeing the average behaviour of people, since it is a place to kick back and have fun after business hours. I'd be very surprised if people drank like that when they got back home though, I know I couldn't do it, I'd never get any work done.

Having a glass of wine with dinner and then chilling out is easy enough to do, or not having anything at all too.
