I need a pda phone.. show me your favorites
I've never had one... and I think one would improve my entire lifestyle... It is time...
How long can you keep them on and connected? There's unlimited isn't there instead of per minute I assume? I use Verizon if that makes any difference. |
I love having a BlackBerry :)

Blackberrys aren't as gigantic anymore right?
Oh and the most important thing, I really need this to have camera, flash, and video... The camera on mine sucks total ass. |
Doesn't matter who your provider is if you get an unlocked phone.
I like the Motorola smartphones, specifically the MPX300. I've got the 200 and there's a 220 that has the camera and Bluetooth. http://www.mtekk.com.au/images/20040219-mpx300-3.jpg |

I love that it's still a phone and not a huge Palmpilot I get to carry in my pocket. :thumbsup |

The Treo is unbeatable. But don't take it from me, take it from the entire staff of the number one business consulting firm in the world KPMG. They gave their 2,000 employees the choice of sicking with their Blackberrys or switching to the Treo.
5 out of 6 KPMG employees switched to the Treo! I don't know about you but if the company that focuses on productivity overwhelmingly switches from the Blackberry to the Treo I think that tells you something huh? |
I will get this beauty within few days...

MP3 Picture's Use as a modem for your laptop speeds up to 250k... A great tool... Memory cards DA WAY 2 GO... Game's Bullshit and more... I love it... :thumbsup I have had mine for a year now so the might have a better model now... plyndrty |
I still love my i500. It looks like a lil ole clamshell cellphone but has everything I need to work away from the office. The only thing I would want to add is a camera. I just don't like these pda's designed like the Treo. I want small compact and something that draws little or no attention. Oh yea I love the graffitti pad. I damn sure don't want to be pressing allthem damn buttons on that frigging Treo. Or having to attach a keyboard :321GFY

i would love to get one, but out here we have nothing that will help me. Our service sucks ass

I just got the PPC 6600 and I love it. It has a Windows XP interface. It's just like having a mini laptop in your hand. It's the best phone I have ever bought. I post on GFY, ICQ people from it I check my mail, send pictures and videos I shoot with it. I love it!

Wow those PDA phones are cool!

Hey red,
I got the same phone that Loryn is talking about. It is on the verizon network and works very well. runs windows mobile, has a slideout keyboad as well. very slick. If you do get it, look on the internet for an extended battery. The one that comes with it wont last a day. Other than that, its great. http://www.audiovox.com/images/products/XV6600_x.jpg http://www.audiovox.com/webapp/wcs/s...3878&langId=-1 -Hank |
sence no one has really addressed this
Most cell companys dont offer an unlimited package for blackberrys and pda phones they sell you data packages for like 179$ a month and you burn thru the data package just checking email half way thru the month |
Go for the Treo 650. It's great until you drop it :)

On the flipside, it is the best and if you get it through Sprint you can get unlimited web browsing that you can also connect to your laptop and surf at average speeds about 3 times dial up. |
I just ordered the Qtek S100... it's available as I-Mate JAM in the US
http://www.clubic.com/photo/00111568.jpg excellent device, played with it in the store. Simple windows interface. Small, simple yet stylish design. I think I'm gonna love it... I'll have it in my hands on monday/tuesday :thumbsup |
amazing phones guys really no words but aint those graphical fuckers eat your battery in few hours? or its good battery life there?
|

:Oh crap http://www.blackberry.com/compare/?CPID=ILC-nahcompare Shit there's a bazillion of them!
|
I've had the MPX200 and the 02 XDAII which has Windows mobile as the OS... and they are soooooo sluggish - battery life was also bad lasting little more than a day. I got so pissed off the the 02 i threw it down the stairs in a fit of rage!
I also had the Treo 600 which was awesome and got a Treo 650 today (only just available in the UK now) and its great. Moving through programs is nice and quick and the battery is meant to last for about a week (the old Treo 600 did). The keyboard is something i couldn't live without now and its still pretty small for a PDA/phone. |

I still think the US is the cheapest for phones, though different countries get different models. |
