Fred meets Ivan
 

As you all know I found a bearded dragon a while ago, got him a cage and all his goodies and went looking for a home for him. Well Missy here at work fell in love with him, which isn't hard to do. He is so sweet. Anyway, every time she goes out of town she brings him to my house to baby sit, I am kind of his God Mommie hehe. Well last night she brought him over and we introduced him to Fred, the cockatiel I found a month ago. As you can tell they seem to get along great:

No not at all. I was surprised. Fred was kinda jumping all over him and around him like Ivan was a rock. Ivan didn't move at all. He opened his eyes once as if he was saying, Chill the fuck out there hop along I am trying to rest here. haha

I am going to have fun with these guys this weekend! :thumbsup

I know, every time I go into Petsmart I think I would love to work here all day. But the money sucks so no way haha

I am going to go about it in a different route. I am starting a donation website and the way I am going to link with other animals sites out there it will be easy for me to get donations. Then I can really go out and start doing what I love the most, liberating homeless or abused animals. Some people think it's stupid because they are just animals, but you would be surprised on how much joy and comfort animals give to people. And when you have happy people you have a better place. Buddha knows. :winkwink:

No!!!! Avoid Petco and Petsmart! :winkwink: They're the leaders of animal cruelty.

I adore animals and i also try my hand to help ones in need. In 2 weeks i am flying out to Utah to spend time volunteering at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary. I am so excited and can't wait to put myself to work! http://www.bestfriends.org/atthesanctuary/

It is always refreshing to hear of others who share our love and concern for those who seem to always get the short end of the stick, animals.

Please keep us posted as to how the idea/site evolves, as i am sure that i am not the only one who would love to either help or donate.

WOW that place is awesome. I would love to run a place like that. Maybe my site will grow big enough where I can start a place like that. Lucky you. You are going to have so much fun out there. I would never leave. haha

Well damn it where am I suppose to get supplies for all these animals? They have to eat and I need crikets and stuff for Ivan and bird toys for Fred.
