Looking for people to share a dedicated server
 

Hi all,

I am looking for people to share a dedicated server with me. I don't know if anyone is interested. Becasue I cannot use all the bandwidth and I want to share with someone to lower the cost.

I am looking for 5 to 6 people who want to host the tgp galleries(not tgp list) to share the server. I don't want to provide cgi and mysql and this will increase the tgp galleries loading time a lot. But you can run php in the server.

My server config is:

Dell Server
Intel® Pentium III 1GHz w/256K Cache
1GB PC-133 SDRAM DIMMs;
36GB Ultra 3, 1 In, 10K RPM, SCSI Hard Drive.

Network:
Level 3
Qwest
Telseon

If there are enough people interested, we can share the 36GB HD, so everyone will get around 4.5-5 GB diskspace.

As for bandwidth, I hope people who share the server can buy at least 100GB per month. The price is $1/gig. Additonal bandwidth is the same. You don't have to pay the monhtly server cost, just pay how much bandwidth you use for. So the basic monhtly price s $100/month with 100GB transfer and 4.5-5 GB diskspace.

$250 is too expensive. I can even get it for $100 but it's in Congent.
