Price Setting Flashcom Cam Girl Script....We need your opinions GFYers!
 

Hi Guys,
Here at Bluewire we're just wrapping up development of our much anticipated Cam Girl script. The script is very similar in functionality to how Home Sex Network works....

The main advantage of our script is that our's takes advantage of Flash Communication Server for the Chat, Mic2Mic, and Cam2Cam. What does this mean....well, if you're on a decent broadband , no more choppy cam's...higher resolutions. In the right circumstances this looks as good as streaming video.


So our question to the GFYers is....What do you feel is a fair price to release this software at? Keeping in mind it will most likely be installed by us and billing integration is a little more complex than your average pay site with this and we'll most likely be doing that as well...

On the other side of the fence....a flash communication server license costs 500 bucks from macromedia. But we will most likely be installing that for clients i imagine...But they will have to burden that cost....


What do you guys think?

If ya got some documentation and info on the functionality in detail I would love to go through it.

And what your describing is utilizing flash for the live feed delivery?
I seen a couple of those, but in different places.
THis sounds like a good script.

At this point just my notes to the development team but i doubt you wanna sort throught those. I've had a 3 man development team on this project for about 6 weeks. It feels good to be entering the debug stage :) ...

Once that's finished up we'll get docs ready, website, etc....

But just off the top of my head i'll type some stuff up and post it in this thread

Yes, we're utilizing Flash Communication Server 1.5. This is basically flash that is made to be user to user interaction.

Currently we are doing a lot of work with Flash Com . We think its the way of the future for many things. Webcam's move A LOT smoother on it versus Java and some other languages commonly used out there.

We're also just finishing development of a net-meeting style, virtual office script. Maybe some of the outsourcing folk will find good uses for it...anyone who works remotely it will be very valuable for...

Then we are also in Flash Com game development...currently a baseball game that will have some pretty kick ass features not found anywhere else on the net for online sports games...

So anyways...for the purposes of this post...

Lets describe the main functionalities as being on par with Home Sex Network's setup. There are some slight differences...but if anything they are improvements...There are only so many ways you can make a cam girl site and we found that that style of organization would be best....

As mentioned the difference really is in the Cam, mic, and chat technology being Flash communication server which provides a nice feed for the customer and thus hopefully coming back for more and more



So the question is again...What do you feel is a fair price for the script by itself, and the script plus installation and payment integration.
