Looks like the media is having a field day with the POPE'S death...
There saying Friday's burial mass will be the most watch event ever in TV history.
I wonder if they where glad he died lol |
bummer on the Pope, after we pay our respects, let do that lunch we chatted about :)
|
Wow, lunch. :)
|
They "made" this event ...
|
Let me tell ya! His body "stinks" good by now. Hasnt been enbalmed. Once you smell a decomposing human body, you never forget it. First one was at the L.A. County Morgue.

Who do you think is going to be buying commercial time? I don't know that there is any real money going to be made, but bragging rights will be sought. I will tell you what, this is nothing like what it was like when Pope John XXIII died. I guess it didn't help that there were only 3 TV channels back then. Then Pope John Paul I, he lasted 33 days. John Paul II lasted a long time compared to the last few they have had. Catholics got attached, and he was pretty cool when he first got the job and was very popular among Catholics. |
If you've been watching CNN the past week you'd be under the impression that the world has literally stood still since he became gravely ill. I wonder if anything else is happening in the world???
|
Yeah it's like a feast not a funeral.

....and in other news, a volcano exploded in Japan killing 3 million people, but now let's get back to talking about this Pope thing... |
yeah there's too much media coverage on the pope's death that it overshadows other news
