Sennheisers all the way for home listening. A pair of HD570s are making sweet, sweet love to my ears as I type this.
Bose makes some kickass noise cancellers though. I got to try a set out on a flight out of vegas one time, pretty damn impressive! :thumbsup |
Oh, one word of warning if you decide to go get the HD570s: be prepared to re-rip or re-obtain any mp3 you have that's 128kbps or less. The sound reproduction is so tight that you'll hear every annoying glitch and artifact in the mp3 encode. 160kbps/192kbps for mp3, or level 5 and up for OGG.
One of those unintended side-effects when bumping up a level of quality I guess. :winkwink: |
Get a nice set of studio quality Koss headphones. They run about $150 but you wont be dissapointed.

I have a pair of Koss as well..great headphones
|
i have these

I have the Sennheiser HD600, great headphones, but you will hate any MP3 less or equal to 128kbps
