2000 members. Also, the traffic, and content (especially) must come into play.

Huw much are they recurring at? Who is the processor? What is the niche? How much bandwidth are you going thru?

well, ibill charges 15% to the program. you still have to pay out 50% before ibill fees.

so = 16800 on 2000 members, per month, assuming 20% bw costs.

still have to look at content and any other associated operating costs.

I have a paysite I have sort of considered selling. Over 10000 members @ 20 bucks a pop. No affiliate program (all traffic is produced inhouse). All the content is extemely high quality video, that we shoot ourselves, and all of it is exclusive to the site. and we have lots of it.

This site is focused on broadband, is growing *daily*, produces on average 170 sales per day (beyond recurring - again with no affiliate prog), etc. did i say our video is extremely high quality?

we also have a very large amount of daily traffic. i could never consider selling for even a measily 12 times monthly profit, and don't know why anyone would...

Depends.

Lots of smart buyers will just buy your site,content and traffic not members.

Also avg rebill is 2-3 months unless you can prove different over a good period of time. No one will pay 100% as that would be foolish, maybe up to 70%.

Of course when all is said and done, it is worth what you can get for it.

My paysite has 360 members and I make -$2,500.00 + per month.

I'll pay $1,000.00 if anyone wants to take them over.

Just out of curiousity, if I may ask, how much video content do you host on your site to maintain that kind of membership? Also, do you stream the video or allow customers to download it?

Maybe in theory you wish they are worth all that "Big" money but you won't find anyone willing to pay, so in reality there not worth it.

So, where it the best place to sell a reasonably sucessful (2000 member) paysite? Putting it on ebay, I don't Get why anyone would bid without 3rd party confirmation of revenue and traffic, among other things. I would never do that myself, so I can't expect anyone else to? Anything else besides ebay? Any other ideas?

does your site use affiliates for traffic, how well does it convert, and how much is a membership? Also, is all traffic you are currently pushing to it included?

How'bout a join venture plan. like selling in percentages. I don't have to risk hundreds of thousands of dollars and you probably make more selling it in pieces. I rather share IDEAS and RISKS with a few owners then all to myself. just an idea..) maybe too troublesome.
