Fuck The Asacp!

I got this email today,

"Stafford here from Dollar Machine. I just came across a complaint from ASACP that we received about inappropriate content on your site - universaltgp.com. Upon reviewing the site I will have to deactivate your account because of the risks of being linked with underage pornography."

#1 I do not have childporn on any of my TGP's.
#2 I submitted my own TGP's to the ASACP for review and they all came back, "We could not determine whether the models are
`clearly` under the age of 18; therefore, we are
unable to report the website to the authorities. "
#3 I have a page here http://www.lacetongue.com/2257_info.txt showing the thumbs and the galleries linked to them and their respective sponsors with their 2257 data...

My problem with all of this is, since when does the ASACP SEND sponsors emails about possibly CP related sites? I am figuring never but I dunno... I don't even promote this sponsor, one of my partner accounts does.. hmm...

ronaldo 04-05-2005 02:39 PM

Interesting. I hadn't heard that before.

Dirty F 04-05-2005 02:44 PM

Thats retarded and im amazed they actually killed your account.

StuartD 04-05-2005 02:45 PM

A lot of the girls on your TGP do look underage... not sure if they are or not, they just look it.

Since when is it illegal to look younger than 18.

Is www.universaltgp.com your site?

That's an interesting one.

What the hell is going on?

I think all the models there are 18+. However some pics are picked and photoshoped a bit to look younger. I don't think that is a crime. But now is a witch-hunt time as far as you know. So everything suspicious is automatically considered as illegal. So I'd recommend you just replace your thumbs.

Why would you report your own sites to ASACP? You should only report sites you think should be shut down, not your own.... unless your sites should be shut down.

Why invite that kind of attention??

Of course they will go after a site they feel is in violation any way they can. One of the most effective ways of nailing a free/tgp/cj site is to go after their sponsors and have you shut down that way. ASACP are very experienced at finding ways of hitting those who they feel are in violation, I thought it was common knowledge.

You best track down some phone #'s and get calling up some of these people and get this straightened out, instead of coming on here screaming "fuck you" about a great and often overworked organization like ASACP.

I never said it was... but I can see how some might want to avoid being associated with such just for precautionary sake.

Thank you.......We received a notice from ASACP that the site has been reported to the FBI, etc. The site also had NO 2257 on the front page. There is nothing I could do but to shut it down.

Furious_Male 04-05-2005 03:03 PM

Some of the trades have even younger looking models.

Im not taking a side either way as I dont know the entire situation. I do know it has to be tough dealing with the barely legal niche.

ronaldo 04-05-2005 03:06 PM

When you get a response like "We could not determine whether the models are`clearly` under the age of 18; therefore, we are unable to report the website to the authorities," I don't see why they feel they have the right to affect someone's business this way. Are we truly beyond, "Innocent until proven guilty?"

How is that different from this....

"Well sir, we can't prove that you stole anything. So, since we can't send you to jail due to insufficient evidence, we're gonna notify all of your potential future employers, that you MAY be a thief."

Noting that CD just posted.

I have always supported the ASACP and believe that they're TRYING to do what's best for our industry. We all know what they say about absolute power however, and for them to go to a sponsor is them abusing that power in my eyes.

:2 cents:

Submitting a site for the asacp to review is reporting that site. They have a simple form questionaire for people who want to get a rating and put that little banner on the page. The asacp doesn't review any site unless they suspect it.

good. V_Rocks, you wanted to act all tough and shit when I confronted you months ago about how I think you're a piece of shit scumbag for cropping your thumbs to make them look as young as possible. Now, you see what happens when you want to push the age envelope... sometimes you get burned. getting what you deserved, in my opinion.

Completely correct (except about the part of going to the sponsor). That's why if I were him I would be on the phone to the ASACP ASAP and get this straightened out, and get myself reinstated with that sponsor. Period.

I have a few teen babe sites too, have had them up for many years actually. I am not so concerned about how young they look, as long as the owners of all the content have it plainly displayed on their sites that all models are over the age of 18. I'm picky like that. If on my own galleries a model looks really young I go out of my way to let the viewer know that she is at least 18, which means I will verify it with the sponsor directly if I have to.

Leave nothing to chance, you guys. Nothing.

lol, I thought you'd agreed completely until the edit.

I totally disagree with going to the sponsor when they don't have any evidence that any laws are being broken.

If the police told everyone in my neighborhood I MIGHT be selling CP and I lost my job, because word got around and my employer "Didn't want to be associated", they'd both have a serious lawsuit on their hands. The ASACP ARE the police in this industry and they need to be careful before they label someone as "Potential" CP distributors. Based on what he's posted, that's what they've done. His image is tarnished and I STILL haven't seen any proof of him doing anything that MANY "Reputable" companies are doing.

Damn man, they could do the exact same thing to you, I or anyone when there is NO proof.

If HIS site is ASACP approved, strip his rights to that. Fine, that's entirely their call.

ASACP is trying to investigate this matter, but this thread is very confusing.

It looks like someone submitted universaltgp.com to the ASACP Hotline. The ASACP Site Reviewer (who investigates reports of suspect cp) sent this reply back to the submitter, "We could not determine whether the models are `clearly` under the age of 18; therefore, we are unable to report the website to the authorities."

ASACP would not send such a response to anyone except for the person who submitted the said report. The only way anyone else would know about this would be if the submitter contracted them.

Please contact me at [email protected], so we can further investigate.

So the ASACP doesn't make it a practice to notify sponsors Joan? That would ease some concerns.

This is a very confusing thread. You submitted your site to ASACP as if you (or someone else) was pointing out that you had 2257 issues on it?

If I have the first part right, then I'm not even going into the second part.

Alex 04-05-2005 03:55 PM

Why would you fuck around.

You deliberatley use thumbs that have underage kids on them which you know will gain tons of clicks and then skim it to a trade too bost traffic. If you didnt fuck arou nd you wouldnt be in this situation.

Thanks, and I will, I want to make CERTAIN that my site doesn't have CP on it! I use only FHG's and my partners are screened. If my site has CP on it, then that would meen 100% that a sponsor has CP in their FHG's and that I am unknowingly promoting it along with the 1000's of other webmasters who are also promoting the same sponsor. I do not think it is ok to do so!

But you are trading with sites that have underage "models" well models means they are legit, but these are kids 10-11 y.o.

Thats sick.

For those still reading, the link was to a trade, the trade has a thumb, the thumb is a candid shot of a girl with her skirt up on the street, in the foreground is a 10 to 12 year old boy walking the other way (not looking at the models ass) and the OTHER TGP, not my own, decided to crop the boy to obviously get click throughs to perceived CP.

I am going to,

#1 Set the trade inactive and let the TGP know that is not OK.
#2 Inform the sponsor that they cannot have a 10yr old kid in a pic even if its a candid and the kid is fully clothed and is not the subject of the picture.

I hope you all learn a lesson from what I am doing. You don't need to pull a fire alarm in a crowded movie theater because you see a roach. You just inform management and have it exterminated.

V_rocks,

Some facts from your post:

1) you received an email from Stafford at python

2) Stafford wrote in his email to you that ASACP had contacted him about your universaltgp.com website and inappropriate content.

3) you then say you submitted your TGP to ASACP for review.

4) you said you got a response back with the folllowing:
"We could not determine whether the models are
`clearly` under the age of 18; therefore, we are
unable to report the website to the authorities. "

-----------------------------------------------

Let start with #3, so did you apply for ASACP membership?

The response in #4 sounds like something that would have been sent in response to someone who had submitted a suspected CP website to ASACP. The response clearly says that universaltgp.com was not reported as having CP.

So to fact #1, it appears that whoever submitted the CP lead for universaltgp.com didn't like the ASACP response that it COULDN'T report the site, and went to find one of your sponsors.

They probably forwarded the text in #4 to Python, that reached Stafford who took a look at universaltgp.com and saw alot of very young looking girls, and decided to drop your account.

As Joan has written, the text from #4 was ONLY sent to the person that submitted the CP lead. The ONLY way that Python would have seen this text is if the submitter contacted Python.

So given these observations, it appears that ASACP didn't "rat" you out to anyone.

If Python wants to drop you because your thumbs look really, really young, that's their right, and if you have a problem with that, you should be posting the thread title as being Fuck Python!

If the way i see it is true, based on the facts presented, then you owe ASACP an apology.

Fight the Fire Alarms!

I sent them my own link, and that was their reply. This TGP shares a DB with 5 other websites I own. I submitted them all myself and got a clean bill of health back on all of them. The reply is in my email box. I sent it to Python in response as a sort of, hmmm... we are getting conflicting emails about my site. They are telling me it is OK and you that it has CP? Weird.

I talked to Python and showed them all of my 2257 data that I collected on my galleries. I challenge any TGP to be as thourough as I have been. I have collected more specific 2257 data on my galleries than any other TGP in the history of TGP's!

Everything is squared away with Python... they see my evidence and agree with me. I am clean. But the ASACP told them I am not. So my beef is still with them. Why have they not contacted me about it? Is that to hard? I sent Joan and email and another to [email protected] and I got zero reply from either of them even though Joan asked me to send her an email.

I would love to appologize once we have discussed the situation. Until then, I am waiting for the ASACP's reply.

ok, so if Stafford said the ASACP reported to him about universaltgp.com, then i can understand your point.

Given Joan's response, ASACP would not have contacted Python.... if they did, isn't it kind of silly to notify Python that universaltgp.com wasn't reported as CP? Your post quoted the message:

"We could not determine whether the models are
`clearly` under the age of 18; therefore, we are
unable to report the website to the authorities. "

Kind of a funny message to send if that was the case.

Looks like some confusion between you and Python, that has nothing to do with ASACP.

Given your later posts, it looks like you would be genuinely concerned if CP images were on your site.
