Although I find it creepy it has been shown that offspring produced by blood cousins poses no risk at all that is unique to being blood relatives. It is really a social/moral issue.

I also think that if you grew up with someone as your brother, sister, dad, or mom, even if they are not blood related and you then get naughty with them that is icky.
