If you just got one, may I suggest a "fishtail" instead of a discback? You'll realllly like it much better. Most places don't sell them, so it may take a little hunting to find one, but it's worth the search.

These are fishtails. You bend them to form fit your gumline. I've found that the discbacks tend to start sinking into your lip, and sometimes get covered up if you have them on slightly too tight.
