If you do the math it works out to 375,000 domains generating 200,000 unique visitors from type-ins per day generating $5 Million per year = $0.07 cents per visitor and proves pennies really do add up.

Also interesting DBS is using the strategy of buying new domains to achieve a 3 to 4 year return on the 30,000 new domains being bought per month vs. the secondary market where names are selling on an 8 to 12 year ROI.

One of the best companies out there to do business with by the way if you have at least 100 domains.

LOL, that's actually one hell of a return on their investment with virtually zero risk.

I tend to agree, that works out roughly to $13.33/domain. Obviously their associated costs are only $6/domain but I would have thought they could make more than this on their vast domain portfolio. It is nevertheless a very solid business model which is sure to grow.

When you own that many domains, not every one can be a winner, there's only so many decent domains out there to be had. As it is, I'm sure the 80/20 rule probably holds fairly consistently for their situation. 80% of their revenues probably come from 20% of their domains.
