Shitty sales week or me?
 

Since last tuesday my sales have gone to shit with most of my sponsors, is anyone else having really bad weeks or is it just me? Thanks!

Last week was a record week for me..

Well i'm also talking about most of last week too. This week is only a few hours old, but still shittier than i'm used to. I normally wouldn't be concerned if I didn't just have 5 of the worst sales days i've had in a long time.

This is going to sound like a stretch but I fucked with my server and logrotate sometime around last Wed and sales have been shit since. Still getting traffic to sponsors so I don't think I fucked up my server.. probably a stretch, i'm just having real shitty luck.

When ever you mess with something and sales tank you need to go back and triple check your changes.... if you can change it back I would, you never know with stuff like that, even if you are a tech wize people still make mistakes. Programs have errors... etc.

That was my original thinking, but it doesn't make sense to me that traffic is still going to sponsors (and being recorded) but sales not tracking. I'm going to try and change back what I changed though, since I wasn't able to set up my logrotate anyway

Gonna break that next week.. and the week after, thats the plan at least.

Shitty for me

yesterday was my best sales day ever :)

Sales rock for us. The spring means hormone bout for all surfers!

Today is running slow, but I also haven't worked since last Wednesday. The past 3 weeks have consistently been growing though, last week set a record. I killed my March goal and hardly tried. Very excited to see what happens in April.

Decent for me but I have noticed large holes of time where there are no signups.

Those holes piss me off. :)

damn that scares me now I think I fucked something up. I thought it was an industry wide slowdown.. maybe it was a sponsor slowdown.

E-myth number one, there are NO INDUSTRY SLOW DOWNS.... don't kid yourself. No slow seasons, no bad days, no holiday this, kids back in school that it's all bullshit excuses people made up (and other bought into) who were looking for excuses why their sales dropped. OR an excuse to take off of work,,, " well might as well take off next week, kids are back in school".... bull shit bullshit bullshit!

Mine started going to shit a couple days before Easter and haven't done too stellar since. I'm starting to get worried. :helpme

Well last summer I noticed the opposite trend I had in the winter. In the summer my weekdays usually rocked, and weekends sucked. During the winter, tue-wed usually sucked while weekends were strong. That's a bad comparison though because in the fall I started using more SE traffic so of course sales will increase overall. I'm going to find out this summer how that holds up though, assuming I get this shit straightened out.

You can post how are you sales doing today everyday and some people will say GREAT best day ever and some will say it sucks today, so if that is the case everyday ( and it is) then how can their be a " bad time" or season when we are all basically pushing the same thing. Most of us create our bad times...

Yes, if a fast food restaurant is having a bad week somwhere in the world, every fucking fast food restaurant on the planet will have a bad week. It's all related.

"voodoo" is that inexplicable loss of business and you just plain can't figure it out. There's no rhyme or reason. But it always comes back if you're doing your job right

Yup, figured it was probably a stupid question since I was going to get different answers from people. Maybe a better question should be how do you get out of funks when you're in one. Wait it out? Change sponsors?
