You guys are lucky you live in a day and age where you actually have other channels to watch that have nothing pope-related happening on. Back in the 70's when this happened we only had 4 channels, one of them was French-only, and on ALL of them for like weeks all you saw was thousands of people in some church in Europe holding ritual after ritual and parading around a dead pope. I was just a little kid then, and needed my sesame street. No wonder I'm so warped today.
