i get too many spams every day. requests to add to list... it sucks. aint it enough that im getting email spam each day? :disgust

Learn how to setup your icq, i been using it for over 6 years on the same number and never get a spam period.

I'm geting about 1, or sometimes 0 spams ;)

AGREED !!! All you have to do is to set it up and you won´t get spam shit

ive used ICQ for about 3 years never seen a single spam in my life

I use trillian, never had an unwanted message in my life.
dunno if it's trillian or if i'm lucky.

add a couple years... and the same applies..
zero spam.

i get new people trying to message me all day, at least 3 per day. the problem is, i dont know if they are new affiliates trying to contact me for something. So i have to deal with it.

Why not turn on that you can't receive icq's from people not in your list?

Yeah, it goes in waves for me, I'll get tons of bullshit spam everyday for a week then it'll stop for a month. It does suck though.

Yeah nobody's going to use it.....look at how AOL messenger and Yahoo messenger have died completely because of spam bots.
