Question about referral payouts
 

If my referred webmaster gets paid $30 for a trial signup do I get paid a percentage of that even though its a trial signup?

I haven't referred anyone yet so I don't know how it works.

Yes, if it's 10% you'll get $3. Or if it's 5% you'll get 1.50 etc. Some sponsors pay more for webmaster referals. See sig for one that pays $100 for active webmaster referal.

Exactly, you get paid a percentage of whatever they're paid. [Assuming its a % refferal not x amount per sale]

Some sponsors pay say $200 per referral - but the member must send x amount of sales before he's credited. Usually in the 10-15 range. The way I see it, is if a webmaster has the capacity to send 10-15 sales then in the long run it would be better to send them to a webmaster program that pays x% per sale.
