Go to xphotography in my sig..$500 would buy you tons of pics. I like them because they are cheap and even tho they aren't glamour quality their shoots are creative rather than the same old 'girl stripping in front of wall' thing.

Well, I sell 10,000 images for $50 in a customizable plugin, with UNLIMITED reffering urls, and each url is totally customizable by itself.
Each plugin has over 30 customizations. As Usual all the content providers will flame now and post all kinds of bullshit, point is, if they can beat it, they try to tell people outright lies so they wont buy it :-)) CyberPunk is a good one for that :-)) |

I do not know why I am bothering to reply to this thread. I do have a few questions though...
Let's do some math shall we? You need 20,000 images for Galleries. Let's say that the average gallery has 20 images in it. This means you want content for 1000 galleries. That is .50 per gallery and a whopping .025 per image! With that said, here are my questions: Do you make any sales from your galleries? If not, why bother? Do you make more than $1.00 from each gallery? If not, why bother? How much time do you put into your .50 galleries? Is your freehost stealing all of your traffic? And lastly.... Is this a joke? Man, at .025 per image, let me know if you ever go into the content biz. I will simply stop shooting and start buying from you. |

The plugin I was talking about is 10,000 images for $50 per month, with unlimited reffering urls. The plugins have 30 customization features and EACH reffering url can be customized totally seperate from the other. There are some fundamental economics to content creation based on the fact the models don't pose for free, photographers are even more expensive, and there are unavoidable costs involved (less true as more and more content providers go digital, but still largely true). There are two ways to recoup costs, and how that is done is of interest to you, the webmaster. The provider can either sell them by the boatload, allowing him to ask for a very small price, or he can sell relatively few of them and charge quite a bit more. If you finally find the $.025 photo, you can bet a lot of other webmasters have it, too, which means the surfers will likely have seen it many times before. For more like $1 a photo, you get shots that haven't been sold to 10 zillion webmasters and aren't out on mass-produced CD's. Sooner or later, every photo will uploaded to the newsgroups and used in galleries, which is why fresh content is important. I think newbies in particular are always looking for cheap content, and buying it, without realizing why it's so cheap. Well, now you know. I'm a small content provider.
