So I opened a bottle of Guinness and I hear this little noise, I look and wot the fuck is this piece of white plastic doing there???????? Anybody knows?
I apologise for my ignorance but I never found anything but beer in a beer bottle.......

It's a widget, a CO2 dispensing mechanism that replicates guinness from the tap.

why do people always ask this? it's written on the side of the can. it's called a nitrogen widget. since guinness is not carbonated, they use compressed nitrogen in a small plastic ball to make the classic guinness head.

nitrogen. co2 is for garbage beer.

same thing, except the widget in the bottle is called a rocker widget and is shaped slightly differently. there's still a little blurb on the side of the bottle about it.

i've never seen any amstel that wasn't light. it's the only light beer i will touch too. pretty good stuff for outdoor activities, and some of the best to cook with.

No, I generally drink Heinekin. I'm cool with darker beers, Amberbock and Killian Red are a couple favorites, but that Guiness Draught made me gag.
