I'm posting this for a friend of mine, do not ICQ me please. Also, outsourcees can just click the back button now, he's not interested.
Desired skills: - Basic design skills, comfortable working with HTML, ftp, managing websites, ssh a bonus - Organized, can track large amounts of data and contacts - Can work efficiently unsupervised, make deadlines, and submit regular reports - Experience in the online adult industry, mainstream experience a bonus - Existing network (ICQ, etc) of contacts (either mainstream or adult) a bonus - Fluent written and spoken English, based in North America Starting wage is $2,000 USD monthly, with potential for advancement. Working hours will be preferably Mon-Fri, 9-5. This is a remote position, no need for relocation. If interested, please don't contact me, but rather email [email protected] with a resume and references. A formal resume isn't necessary, but a summary of past projects, sites, skills, and references (that will be verified) would be appreciated. |
2K monthly?
WTF is that? FUCK OFF! |

12.50 or less per hour?
Ok I am sure you may get some replies but DAMMM I would not use them. |
AlienQ is pretty rude but he has a point. Anyone who is capable of satisfying the job requirments will be able to make far in excess of $2K monthly. He needs to offer a basic PLUS commission including other fringe benefits. He'll just attract the wrong sort otherwise.

Just noticed the location as well, are those US dollars or Canadian Dollars?

At least somebody gets it... |

You don't think there are any GFY members have basic HTML skills but aren't making 2k/mo in adult? |
Sleazydream does not even know HTML...
Is that proof enough? |
Best of luck finding someone :)

So if ya cant find someone who meets your requirements what can ya pay someone who has basic HTML and other assorted skills, few contacts in adult or mainstream, but killer PR skills?
|

stupid, thats what he is looking for |
$2k/month comes to about 11.54/hr.
that's a bit light. I could understand it if the person needed to be available from 9-5 but it wasn't constant working, but man.... |

Yea but no one willing to work 9-5 for 2k a month |
I agree, I don't think it will be easy to find someone with those skills prepared to work those hours for so little. :2 cents:
Good luck and I hope he finds who he is looking for. :) |
I don't think it's so bad actually. If you do well there's potential for advancement as Fuzebox mentioned. This is a good STARTING for someone. Some poeple have skills but never had a chance to really apply them to their own stuff because they always worked for other people. Also, some people preffer working for others, less of a risk. If it's a slow month sales wise, you don't suffer. Guaranteed money prodiving the eployee is up to apr with his/her duties each month.
|
Any other Job Offers?

A lot of people here are lucky to bring in $800/month. |
Sounds like not a bad job spot.
Guaranteed money is better than nothing when it is slow. I have the skills, but with having 2 kids to look after full time now, a 9 to 5 job just doesn't quite work out. now a 9 to 5 job that I can do at anytime of the 24 hour day as long as I do the 8 hours of work, that I could swing. It will be a good position for someone. Good luck to all who ever apply :thumbsup |
Fuzebox, i suggest you get in touch with me reasonably soon : )
AIM: F30 Pro And i just added you to my icq. |
Still waiting to hear from you fuzebox...or maybe you can contact me via proxy with your new webmaster.
|
um he said not to contact him... and to send an email to his friend he posted this for.
|
Good luck on your quest
|
90% of the gfy makes less than that, this guy is probably getting slammed with resumes right now...
|
bump for fuzebox. i hope you find someone good bro!
|
I think if you remove the 9-5 requirement you'll have alot more postive responces

90% of GFY don't even make that much ($2k)
seeing how some losers post 3000 times in a thread for an iPod, i'd say he's on the right track. |
Keep in mind that for someone on 2k, you can only expect so much quality.
Premium work always comes at a price. |
$2k/mo is sort of low IMHO. I doubt you'll be able to find someone with the skills & contacts that you are looking for with offering such a low amount.

40/hrs *52/12=173.3333... /hrs per month. $2,000.00/173.33=$11.54 |
Does the position include Health/Dental/401k?
|
$2,000 is low for people base on north america, i think you can find someone that is qulified and willing to take $2,000/mo but not base in n.america .. gud luck looking ... :thumbsup

i would rather work for myself

There's other people in here that are making bank that are offering jobs at 5-6 bucks per hour (under minimum wage), basically running slave operations.... so I don't think anyone can complain here.. but the truth be told, you want good work, come up with the cash and benefits! or your gonna be going thru employees like rice cakes and coffee grounds.
Most importantly you need your biz organized and focused, or it leads to mayhem |
$2k is a good pay in most parts of Asia, Latin America or Central-Eastern Europe
But he probably doesn't want anyone from those parts of the world |
surely, its hard to find someone with that proposal who lives in the US. good

Some of you people truly amaze me.
I could go post ads at every community college and state school in my area right now for that exact position and would receive a GREAT response. A starting salary of $2,000 for a webmaster position isn't bad at all. This isn't 1997, being a webmaster isn't rocket science. I could train somebody to be a webmaster in a weeks time. "Why would they work for you when they can work for themselves?" Security. Guaranteed cash. Lack of self-employment skills and motivation. Hell I could hire my mom for that and it would be a pay raise for her, and she's one of the hardest workers I've ever known. I love the high horse mentality in this industry. It's a shame so many of you forget what it's like to start at the bottom. |
