Mozilla Firefox and no flash display problem

OK I have no Idea why this happens.. I've built a page with a flashanimation in it. Everything looks fine in Firefox when flash is installed. Now for those users that don't have flash it looks like this and completely wrecks the page:

http://www.dikdesign.com/paysite/screenshot.jpg

Why is it all of a sudden breaking the tables? In IE without flash the page is fine (except that there is no flash animation ofcourse :winkwink: )

Here is the acual URL of the page: http://www.dikdesign.com/paysite/

Please tell me what is wrong. Please. :helpme

*MAYBE* try putting the Object line on the same line as the opening TD for the cell, and the closing TD on the same line as the closing /Object.

Not sure though.

Thanks for the input :) But nope, it didn't work... Also the flashbanners at the bottom of GFY are acting the same way...

And you have flash disabled?

Tom_PM 04-01-2005 01:03 PM

Yeah I dont have flash on my firefox either. So it loads those placeholders.. I think it might be unavoidable. They seem to load larger than the actual objects size..

sumphatpimp 04-01-2005 01:05 PM

download the flash plugin and it will work

Anyway, I'm using FF 1.02, maybe that's the problem?

Yeah... Well, I guess we have to skip the % of FF users who don't have flash installed then...

I'm using 1.02 and I can't get flash 2 work..
flash worked with version .8 or .9 and I deleted them after installing 1.xx
have 2 use .6 to see flash.
