forums - phpbb or vbulletin? discuss.

I'm onpening a forum,. because there aren't enough on the internet at the moment. So, which is better and why? I hear vbulletin is easier to change the layout, but phpbb has more features.

I would use vbulletin. It has for more features, support, add ons and other... its far more powerful as far as user management, etc.

I only use phpbb for small private forums and other apps...

It's just the opposite, vbulletin has more features, and it's easier to change layout in phpbb...

If the forum is suposed to be very big (when it comes to number of online users, members lists and posts) and I mean very big VBB is the way to go, else go with phpBB.
