Toronto, Montreal or Boston?
Right after Internext (2nd week in August) I wanna do a little traveling and those are three places I consider. Never been to boston and montreal before, been to Toronto already but none of the persons that are going to join me have which is why I strongly consider going to TO again.
Which city would you recommend for a 5-6 day trip? :) help a brotha make a decision :winkwink: |
Moscow. Come to me, darling.
|
5 or 6 days you can go to all three.
Montreal is only a 6 hour drive from Boston. |

so either TO, Montreal or boston this time. |
probably too early for the east cost crew :winkwink:
|
There is a show in Montreal first week of May.
Obviously not the time frame you're looking at, but it would be an excuse to visit Montreal at that time if you can swing it. |

thx for the tip but I've done enough traveling already this year ;-) |
I lived in Boston, and I loved it there, but I liked Montreal and Toronto too. It's a tough call. You could do both, Montreal is only a 5 hour drive from Boston.

Since I live in Montreal and have lived in Toronto before... I'd have to say go with Boston. :)
Great city... |
I grew up in Montreal for 18 years, lived in Toronto for 6 years, and have visited Boston several times and also lived there for 3 months once, and all 3 have their merits as worthy places to hang out but I would have to say Montreal in spring/summer should win out because it really is a different experience from the other two in many positive ways that you can't get anywhere else in North America.

cant speak for boston. |
Montreal...no doubt about it!!! :)
|
Trax,
Seeing that I grew up in Boston it has my vote. Although I myself love going up to Montreal. They always say the grass is greener :) Boston in Aug will be great no doubt about it. Quincy Market, Faneuil Hall, The aquarium, Newburry street, Harvard Square, North End, The Park. That time of year you can do a duck tour www.bostonducktours.com Let me know what kind of activities you are interested in and I will think of more things for you to do as options. |
I love Montreal. Never been to Toronto or Boston too..
|
I am from Boston and got married in Montreal and have never been to Tornonto. I think if you are really going to do a trip properly, you want to take your time and enjoy it. I would either do the Toronto and Montreal or just Boston. If you choose Bostson here's some ideas for you!
1. Boston Proper: Fanueil Hall, Fenway Park.....The heritage trail.....Newbury Street. It's a walking city. 2. Go down Cape Cod: Hyannis, ProvinceTown, anywhere on the cape is great. 3. Go up the coast and visit places like: Marblehead, Salem (where the witch trials took place), RockPort (cool artist colony). 4. There are tons of things to do in Massachusetts depending on what you like..... Don't hesitate to hit me up for any suggestions! Good luck.....it sounds like a ton of fun! |
Montreal

I wasn't even thinking of places outside Boston. Good call. Salem, the cape, rockport all great places to enjoy in august :thumbsup |
Montreal has a great nightlife and strip clubs with contact for 10$ CAN
|

Great nightlife and a lot of festivals in the summer! |
Shuki......where in Boston are you?
|
The bars in Lynn .... oops well thats where I would visit anyways. LOL

ouch... this is getting a very hard decision
keep it coming your comments are appreciated |
Montreal is the most interesting, almost like going to Europe without the overseas flight.
|
Montreal, no doubt about it.
Boston is boring. Musems and shit. Montreal is different and exclusive, it's like Europe with a North-American style of life. Old Montreal, St-Catherines street, Bars, Clubs, tourist attractions, etc. |

Montreal for sure
|
now i am all excited about Boston.....Montreal is awesome......hmnn.....i don't know if it would take too long.......but hit Boston for a day and then drive up the coast and hit new hampshire and end up in montreal!

Montreal is the top sex tourist destination in N America. Montreal escorts are the cheapest and hottest in N America. They will fuck your brains out for less than $200 Canadian. And the strip clubs off the island of Montreal are more brothels than anything else.
Of course and the food is great too.. |

Hahaha I used to hear that all the time. And yes I started my life of crime there... thankfully I left there young enough to get straightened out or I would have been visiting places like walpole and billerica. LOL |

Boston for sure so you can get to see a red sox game.
|
Your order of priority should be:
1. Montreal 2. Boston 3. Toronto |
I live in toronto, so I'd have to say:
1. Montreal 2. Boston 3. Toronto not to say toronto isnt a great place, it is awesome. But montreal is amazing and I've never been to boston. so they beat out toronto in my books. |
ok......
|
thought i'd breathe some life back into this thread.....have you made any decisions yet?
