what % of your gallery uniques come from recips?
 

those who run TGP'S or sites that have galleries... what percentage of your uniques per day actually comes from recipes do you think? anyone figured it out?

Mine changes a lot normaly 5% - 15% is recip traffic.. depends on what other MP's are linking to the same gallery....

i guess it must be something like 0.05
it doesnt even worth to check!

like 0.01 percent. if that. receips are basically a joke.

I guess when people see the name "Satan's Bitch" on a link, they just HAVE to take a look

The only thing that I can think of that recips are good for is link popularity...

so is it worth it to even ask for recips in order to be listed? other then helping you narrow down the galleries you will use when you get alot of submissions, any other reason to mandate recips?

actually i had tgps where recips were needed for over 3 years now and the link pop is still not high,,

my theory,,
-90% of the gallery posters never keep their pages up long enough for it to be crawled by SE's
-Links are so deep and mirrored that it never gets crawled

and about getting traffic fromit,,, well lets think about the average click thru of sponser links and divide that by 10,,,

i get like 500 submissions a day and only get around 100 hits a day from the recips,,, i believe surfers had zoned them out,,

i prefer non-recip clean galleries as do others because they look better,, but of course i won't accept galleries that have recips and not mine

Most of my traffic is bookmarks, then SE, then link trades, then recips. 5-10% maybe. Sometimes some one will put my recip next to The Hun or something and I'll get like 500 hits from one gallery. That's rare though.

Hmm...that link popularity thing isn't 100% accurate. It finds 7,772 links to www.pigporn.com but it says there are no links to me in google, which one of my main traffic sources.
