Just watched the documentary "Supersize me"...
... pretty insane.
If you haven't seen it, it's about a guy who, after two ultra-chubby teenage girls sued McDonalds Corp. back in 2003 for "making them fat", decides to eat nothing but McDonald's food for an entire month. He gets three different doctors involved in monitoring his stats, and at the same time he does an in-depth study on obesity America. You should see the changes this guy goes through, it's incredible. All I can say is.... I am never eating McDeath's again. :helpme Okay I am, but never more than about once a month, if that. Which, by the way, is my usual fast food frequency. WEll, except for pizza delivery. That doesn't count though..... right? ha ha I recommend watching "Supersize me" though. Very enlightening. |
I liked it, but at the same time, i felt that guy was a huge drama queen.. So i found it hard to believe alot of the shit.

He was selling you a story the guy was a comedian and had a girlfrind that fed him only veggies before that you figure out wether this is typical.

However, if you think eating fast food even once a week is a good idea you're, well, out to lunch. |
that movie was dumb and could be applied to any fucking restaurant.
I could eat Chinese food for a month and get fat, or italian food and get fat. It doesn't matter. I should make a fucking movie of me eating at McDonald's and loosing weight. I'd be fucking rich! |

have to agree a little bit on that...his drama queenness detracted from the credibility of the shit he was portraying which I believe to be true... ...that most fast food is really just tastey cardboard that's of negative nutritional value... |

I have noticed that since that film was made we've seen Wendy's now offering side choices other than just fries with their combos, and McD's now has salads... although their salads have as much fat in them as a Big Mac. :1orglaugh Since decent chinese food has a lot of fresh greens and vegetables in their dishes I would tend to disagree there. But over all I'd say yes, eating constantly at any fast food restaurant would be eventual suicide by gluttony. The film made several good points though about the eating habits and obesity of a good % of Americans. |

most americans really do NOT know how bad the food they eat is for them. and if they really knew the full extent of damage it causes over time, McD's would go out of business. |

plus he was eating way more than normal. supersizing stuff, stuffing his fucking face until he couldnt move.
you could eat at mcdonalds for a month, and not gain that much weight if you ate a bit healthier, and didnt overeat. |
