Does anyone listen to the Phil Hendrie show?
 

it doesnt play in montreal so i pay for the backstage pass on his website http://www.philhendrieshow.com. For those who dont know, the host of the show phil hendrie has made up several characters and has a conversation with himself(he plays 2 parts..himself, and the character he's interviewing) through the show over some dumb/controversial topic. You wouldnt be able to tell he plays both parts since he does it so well.

Yesterday one of the characters had a new advertising campaign for bottled water, with proceeds going towards something related to teh whole terry schiavo ordeal..and the slogan of the advertising campaing was "blink if you're thirsty"...you can imagine the kinds of calls the show got with a skit like that. Anyways i was just curious if any others listen in..its golden.

i was going to pick up take-out chinese food, and i had to sit in the parking lot for 5 minutes until he finally got to the payoff line, "blink if you're thirsty" --- i knew it would be worth it ;-)
but my favorite is the character who keeps saying "i'm a gay man and a gay journalist, NOW what do you think of me?" lololol

plane go boom - pants go brown!

He switched to another a.m. station here in L.A. just a month or so. I use to listen to him every night, until I got frustrated with the callers getting whacky and the character Phil plays would constantly interupt the caller with, "um hum, um hum, um hum". I had to stop listening! :1orglaugh Blood pressure would go up. :(

I hate the fact that he switched stations - I can't get the new one at night here in San Diego unless I'm in my car, and even then there are dead spots. (From a strictly radio programming standpoint, it was also a stupid move for them to switch him to the sports station, as well.) The "uh huh" bothers me at times, but not overly.

Funniest guy on the radio. Although Im getting a kick out of uncensored Opie and Anthony lately on XM.

For some reason I absolutely cannot stand his show. I listen to the station he recently left, and when he would come on I'd whip that radio off as fast as I could. Couldn't even stand to listen to his voice.

I haven't listened in a while because I got a little tired of it, but damn it's some great stuff. Been a listener for a few years now.

I've only heard one thing by him. A friend sent me an mp3 called "all you can eat negro" and it was the funniest shit ever.
